Albert Einstein / Master of STEAM

A true genius and one of the greatest minds in history, Albert Einstein revolutionized the way we understand the universe. Born in Germany, he developed the General Theory of Relativity, a cornerstone of modern physics. Although he won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921, it wasn’t for relativity but for his work on the photoelectric effect, which laid the foundation for quantum mechanics.

Einstein’s theories about light, matter, gravity, space, and time have shaped scientific thought for over a century. His most famous equation, E=mc², reveals that energy and mass are two forms of the same thing—a concept that transformed nuclear physics and modern technology.

A deep thinker with a playful sense of curiosity, Einstein once said,

“Imagination is more important than knowledge.”
